How to open the secret Duke O’Death car in Grand Theft Auto 5
The developers from Rockstar prepared in the updated versions of GTA 5 (PS4, Xbox One and PC) a few nice bonuses for loyal fans who played the «Five» on PS3 or Xbox 360 and bought it for the second time. In previous articles we’ve already written about the exclusive car Dinka Go Monkey Blista and a secret plane Dodo Seaplane, that are available only for returning players. Now we’ll tell you about another one of these vehicles — an armored muscle car Duke O’Death.
How to Open Duke O’Death
To open this secret car, you need to fulfill three conditions:
- To be a returning player;
- complete the side mission «Walkthrough» for Franklin;
- pass random event «Duel» (participation in random events is necessary to pass the game 100%).
After completing the side quest for Franklin, Duke O’Death can be found by any of the three characters in the Grand Senora Desert. You’ll find this armored muscle car in the parking lot of the local gas station — indicated by a large blue spot on the map. Or you won’t find it, as this random event may come up another time.
When you get in your car, you start a little mission called «Duel,» which is a parody of the Steven Spielberg movie of the same name. At first you will be chased by several trucks — just swerve off-road and soon you will get away from them. After you will be chased by three jeeps, two bandits in each. You can try to get away from them in the same way, or get out of the car and shoot the pursuers.
Now the armored car is yours!
Where to Find Duke O’Death
Don’t be afraid of losing or blowing up your brand-new muscle car. After passing the Duel, you will always be able to find it in two places on the map:
- Grand Senora Desert

You can find the car inside a dilapidated and rusted-out warehouse.
And remember, don’t piss off the truck drivers unnecessarily!
